Add water to the pot, add cumin, bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon, I added some dried chili peppers. If you don’t like it, you can leave it out and add some salt and turn on the heat
-
After boiling the pot, cook for a few minutes and add a few drops of oil (adding a few drops of oil is to keep the edamame as green as possible)
-
Bring the edamame to a boil. Turn to medium to low heat and cook until the edamame is cooked. Just taste it to see if it's done. Don't overcook it
-
Take out the cooked edamame and let it cool. Pour back the water in which the edamame was cooked and soak it in the refrigerator to refrigerate until it tastes delicious. Take it out before eating
