Overview

Pork trotters are a regular dish at my house, and can be prepared in various ways. This time, I’m going to make a five-spice braised version with some Knorr Soup Potato. It tastes really good

  1. Wash the pig's hands and cut them into pieces, put them into cold water and boil them for 5 minutes

  2. Pour away the bloody water, rinse well, prepare all materials, cut the dried chilies into small pieces and soak in water for later use

  3. Turn a large pot over low heat, add an appropriate amount of cooking oil and rock sugar and stir-fry

  4. Stir-fry until it bubbles and becomes sugary, then add ginger and sauté until fragrant

  5. Pour in pork knuckles and stir-fry until evenly browned

  6. Add cooking wine, pepper, and soy sauce and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add in all the spices and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in the thick soup and stir well

  7. Add enough water to cover the pork knuckles, add dried chili peppers, cover the pot and bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 35 minutes

  8. When the juice is almost gone, you can take it out of the pot
