Braised mackerel with tofu
Overview
When I got off work at noon, I saw small mackerel fish for sale in a small market. They cost 2 pounds for 10 yuan. I went home and counted them. I bought exactly 10 fish for 10 yuan. They were small. I picked the four smallest ones and stewed them with tofu. The milky white soup is extremely delicious.

Remove the internal organs from the mackerel.

Cut into small pieces.

Heat oil in a pan, add fish segments and stir-fry until color changes, add green onion and ginger segments.

Add appropriate amount of water, salt and cooking wine.

Add tofu and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low heat and simmer until the soup turns white.
