Rose steamed buns
Overview
Very simple rose buns. I want to try it next time, make the skin thinner, and arrange the skins from large to small, instead of making them into circles of the same size. This time I only used 5-7 skins. Will you try 10 layers next time? When stacking, sprinkle more flour between the dough to prevent the petals from sticking directly. The petals should be opened directly, otherwise they will not be obvious after steaming.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Dissolve yeast and sugar with warm water, pour in flour, and knead the flour into a smooth dough
-
Ferment until doubled in size
-
Use a mold to cut out equal-sized circular pieces of dough from the rolled out dough.
-
Fold the dough one after another and press it in the middle with chopsticks. (The dough in this picture is not very neat because I dug out the mold and rolled it out a few times later)
-
Starting from the dough that was put last, roll up the dough in the direction of the dough that was put first.
-
Cut the rolled dough roll in the middle. Then shape it to look like a flower.
-
The shaped flowers are left to wake up on the steamer for another 20 minutes. After that, the pot of cold water begins to steam and the water is boiled over high heat. Wait for the pot to start steaming, then steam for about 15 minutes.
