Toothpick Meat Snack - Chicken Breast and Tenderloin Version
Overview
When I went to the supermarket, I saw toothpick meat and I wanted to eat it. However, I am a pretentious person. I wanted to eat it but I also disliked the toothpick meat outside because it was not clean enough. I have no choice but to make it myself to satisfy my craving. However, the toothpick meat you eat yourself is not demanding and the method is very simple! All you need is a packet of marinade and you’re done!

Steps
-
Prepare a piece of chicken breast and a piece of tenderloin, rinse them repeatedly with clean water, and then use a kitchen towel to absorb the water and set aside.
-
Cut the tenderloin and chicken breast into small cubes about one centimeter in size and put them in a bowl and set aside.
-
Add 35g of Orleans marinade, 2 tablespoons of starch, 2 tablespoons of water, and one egg white into the bowl.
-
Stir evenly and put into a plastic bag, and refrigerate for more than 2 hours, or refrigerate overnight for better taste.
-
Take an appropriate amount of toothpicks and put them into a bowl and soak them in warm water for about 20 minutes. This step is to prevent the toothpicks from burning when frying.
-
Use toothpicks to skewer the marinated meat. One toothpick can skewer about 2 pieces of meat. Make sure to leave a gap between the two pieces of meat to facilitate deep frying.
-
Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pot and heat it. Put the chopsticks into the pot and see if it can quickly stir and bubble. Then add the toothpick meat and start frying. During the frying process, be careful to turn it with chopsticks to prevent sticking. Put it in one by one and not pour it all at once.
-
Fry until golden brown, take out and drain the oil, then put it in the pot and fry again for about 30 seconds.
-
After frying, sprinkle with cumin powder and it is ready to eat. If you like spicy food, you can brush it with chili sauce. If you don’t like spicy food, it can be eaten by children.
