Steak with okra and black pepper sauce
Overview
When cooking a family dinner, the taste of the family is naturally the main focus. As a mother, the home chef considers most not what she likes to eat, but what her children like to eat, what her husband likes to eat, and what is good for their health. Naturally, whether it is a holiday or a regular home, when the family gets together, the children's favorite dishes will definitely be at the top of the list. For example, steak is what my children like. When they are at home, I often cook it for them. Today's dish is black pepper sauce flavored, paired with steak and fried eggs, which not only satisfies the child's taste, but also provides the child with comprehensive nutrition.

Steps
-
Prepare the raw materials, this time I specially bought Australian fillet beef
-
Move the beef filet from the freezer to the refrigerator to thaw at low temperature one day in advance. When cooking, take it out and warm it to room temperature, then use kitchen paper to wipe off the surface moisture
-
Spread a little salt evenly with your fingertips and marinate for 10 minutes
-
Apply a small amount of butter to the surface
-
Spread the butter evenly
-
Blanch okra in boiling water for about 1 minute, take out and set aside
-
Before frying the steak, heat the plate with the steak in advance. Since there is something baking in the oven, I steam it in boiling water and set it aside
-
In addition to the automatic grilling function, my new electric baking pan can also adjust the temperature manually. I did not use the highest flame, but chose medium flame. After preheating, the temperature when frying was about 190 degrees
-
After preheating to the required temperature, brush a little oil into the pan, add the steak, cover and fry for about 1 minute, then reduce the heat to low, the temperature is about 160 degrees, and fry for another 2 minutes
-
Then turn it over and continue to fry on low heat for about 2 minutes. Place the fried steak into the hot plate and cover it with a light lid to let the steak wake up. I forgot to take a picture of the covering process, so I’ll explain it in words.
-
While the steak is waking up, fry a little onion in a little butter until fragrant, then add the chopped okra and fry, sprinkle with a little salt, and fry until fragrant
-
While frying the okra, fry an egg
-
After the steak has risen for 7 or 8 minutes, put the fried okra and eggs on a plate, pour the black pepper sauce on it, sprinkle with some sweet beans to garnish and enjoy
