Prepare the beef and clean it.

Cut into large pieces.

Heat oil in a pot over low heat, add rock sugar and boil until brown.

When the sugar turns slightly yellow, add the hot pot base and bean paste.

Add beef cubes and cooking wine and stir-fry evenly.

Transfer to electric pressure cooker.

Press for 20 minutes.

Heat oil in another pan, add chili and garlic and stir-fry until cooked.

Pour the braised beef into the pot and stir-fry evenly. Add salt, chicken essence, oyster sauce and pepper to taste. Stir-fry evenly and serve.
