Roasted Chicken
Overview
Chicken is always associated with good luck and has the meaning of good fortune and good luck, so it is considered perfect to put a whole chicken on the dining table during New Years and holidays. The chicken I roasted was big enough. It was my sister’s own three-yellow chicken, which weighed 6-7 pounds. It took too long to fully roast it, so I added various seasonings to the whole chicken and cooked it in a pot. Then I smeared the chicken with black pepper sauce and hot sauce and roasted it in the oven. It was charred on the outside and tender on the inside, rich and mellow. There was also a pot of delicious chicken soup, which was fragrant, full of flavor, and had a long aftertaste!
