Steamed Pork
Overview
My son's favorite! At my son's strong request, I started cooking at 4 p.m. and finished it at a little after 6 p.m. My son ate two steamed buns. My son’s belly is round and my heart is blooming.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Slice pork belly. About 3mm thick. Add light soy sauce, oil, appropriate amount of salt, and appropriate amount of honey. If you like a darker color, add a little dark soy sauce. The specific amount of seasoning depends on the amount of meat.
-
Heat a small amount of oil, add onion, ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
-
Beat an egg and beat into egg liquid. Put a little less into the meat, and put a little more sauteing oil into the meat. Stir thoroughly. No photos were taken of the stirred meat)
-
I use this powder. Randomly bought in the supermarket. It feels good after using it once. Just keep using this.
-
Divide the meat into half, and pour an appropriate amount of powder into the meat. Don't put too much, just enough to cover it. Skin side down, place slices into a bowl. Put some green onions on top.
-
In the base oil in the pot, add half a spoonful of bean paste and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant. Pour in the other half of the pork belly and mix evenly. Add steamed pork powder and wrap it in a layer.
-
This is the bean paste I use.
-
Steam in a pot for 1 to 1.5 hours. Or electric pressure cooker for 45 minutes. Take it out of the pot, the picture shows the finished product! Served with some vegetables, my son likes cucumbers to bite into, so he just cuts them into sections.
