Barbie fondant cream cake
Overview
My daughter is celebrating her 7th birthday today. Barbie is her favorite, so I want to make a Barbie cake for my daughter. I hope she will always be as optimistic and cute as Barbie. This is the second time I have made a birthday cake. The first time I made a fondant cake for my mother-in-law. I originally wanted to make a fondant cake for my daughter because I don’t know how to decorate flowers and have never done it before. However, the time was so tight and I only had two hours. Making fondant cake is very time-consuming, so I decided to make a temporary decision. I decided to use cream to replace the lower half of Barbie's skirt. I wanted to make it a flowing skirt, but I couldn't do it. Fortunately, my daughter liked it very much. She said: I am very happy how my mother made the cake, because it was given to me. I like pink the most. Thank you for your hard work, mother. I was so moved after hearing what my daughter said. So I must record this beautiful moment and send it to all the mothers like me. Finally, I wish my little angel will grow up healthily and happily. No matter what happens in the future, my mother’s arms will always be open to you. I wish all children to grow up healthily, and I wish all mothers to be young and beautiful!

Steps
-
Separate the egg whites and yolks into two water-free and oil-free basins.
-
Add soybean oil, milk, and 20 grams of white sugar to the egg yolks and stir evenly.
-
Then sift in the low-gluten flour and mix well.
-
Add 60 grams of white sugar to the egg whites in three batches and beat with a whisk until dry peaks form. That is, when you lift the egg beater, there will be a small upright triangle.
-
Add the beaten egg whites to the egg yolk batter in three batches and mix evenly.
-
Pour into the mold, knock out any bubbles, and place in the oven at 150 degrees for 60 minutes.
-
Remove from the mold.
-
Divide cake into three parts.
-
Spread cream between each adjacent two slices of cake, place strawberries, then spread cream, and put the three slices of cake together again.
-
Sterilize the Barbie doll and wrap it in plastic wrap.
-
Take out the fondant paste, dip a toothpick in a little pink coloring, and knead it into a small pink ball. When kneading the fondant, apply white oil on your hands to prevent it from sticking.
-
Roll out a small rectangular piece and wrap it around the doll to use as the doll's skirt.
-
Then roll out a small strip and wrap it around the doll's shoulders.
-
Continue to roll out a long strip, make it into a bow, and glue it to the doll's chest.
-
Make a small hole in the middle of the cake. Insert the doll into the cake and spread the cream onto the surface of the cake.
-
Use a toothpick dipped in a little pink coloring and stir it into the cream, put the cream into a piping bag, and use your favorite piping nozzle to pipe out corresponding patterns. Please forgive my decorating skills, as I don't know how to decorate and my time is limited.
