Millet and Red Date Porridge
Overview
Millet is a traditional healthy food and can be used alone to make rice and porridge. In the north, millet is one of the main foods. In many areas, it is customary to eat millet porridge for dinner. However, in the south, millet is rarely eaten. Millet is rich in nutrients, but like other grains, its protein content is too low in lysine. It can be paired with various ingredients such as sweet potatoes, quinoa, beans, dates, pumpkins, longans, longans, etc. in porridge to increase both nutrition and taste. I had some soaked glutinous rice left over from making pearl dumplings, so I thought of making a pot of porridge with millet and red dates. Haha: This is actually the first time my family has eaten millet porridge~·~
