Salt and pepper chive soda cake
Overview
Today is Father's Day. Niu's dad especially likes the taste of salt and pepper and chives. Moreover, Niu's dad is a little fat and I don't want him to eat more sweets. In addition, Niu's dad works in Myanmar and travels between companies for a long time. It is not easy to buy some suitable snacks on the road in Myanmar, so I want to make a kind of biscuit that he likes to eat. Let him take a box with him every time he goes to Myanmar. It can relieve his hunger when he is hungry. I modified this salt-and-pepper and chive soda cake based on the recipe from my friends online. It turned out pretty well. Niu’s dad said it was more to his taste, but he has a strong taste and hopes to add more ground Sichuan peppercorns next time. I will try more and hope to find out Niu Dad’s favorite formula soon. I wish Niu’s father and my father who are far away in Guangdong, as well as all the fathers among my friends: Happy Father’s Day!
