  1. Season the fresh meat filling appropriately and set aside

  2. Cut the lotus root into thin slices and set aside

  3. Choose two pieces of lotus root and stuff it in the middle like meat filling. Set aside

  4. Put an appropriate amount of oil in the pot and fry the lotus root box until both sides are golden brown (if the meat filling is thick, the frying time should be extended appropriately), drain the oil and set aside

  5. Choose your favorite flavor to prepare the sauce (I personally prefer sweet and sour), thicken the sauce and pour it on the lotus root box, then sprinkle with chopped green onion.
