Coconut Breadsticks
Overview
The strong fragrance of coconut was already wafting in the room while the bread was being baked. The aroma fascinated me, so I took out the baking pan and secretly tasted some bread. It was really delicious bread. Coconut breadsticks are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a strong coconut flavor in your mouth. They are a good choice for breakfast and leisure food.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Medium-sized dough: Mix high-sugar resistant yeast and water evenly, add it to the bread flour, stir evenly, cover with plastic wrap and ferment for 10 hours.
-
Main dough: medium-sized dough, bread flour, sugar, eggs, salt, butter, milk, coconut.
-
Pour the medium-sized dough, bread flour, eggs, and sugar into the bread barrel of the bread machine and start the dough mixing process.
-
When the flour is kneaded into a ball, add salt and continue kneading.
-
When the dough can be pulled out of a thin film, add butter and continue kneading. When the dough can be pulled out into a strong film, take out the dough, shape it into a round shape, and place it in a basin covered with plastic wrap to ferment.
-
Make the coconut filling: Pour the measured coconut into a small bowl.
-
Add sugar.
-
Pour in the milk and stir evenly.
-
If the bread dough slowly expands and does not shrink or collapse when you poke a hole with your finger, it indicates that the fermentation is complete.
-
Deflate the dough thoroughly and divide into two equal parts.
-
Roll each of the 2 pieces of dough into a rectangular shape.
-
Spread the coconut filling evenly on one of the dough sheets.
-
Place the other dough piece on top and align the four corners.
-
Cut the dough into 3 cm wide strips with a knife.
-
Take out a strip, roll it into a twist with both hands in opposite directions and place it in the baking pan.
-
Put the baking sheet into the oven, turn on the fermentation setting, and put a bowl of boiling water at the bottom of the oven for fermentation.
-
After 40 minutes of fermentation, take out the oven and brush the surface of the bread dough with egg wash. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees with upper and lower heat. When preheating is complete, put the baking sheet into the oven, bake with upper and lower heat to 175 degrees, and bake for 18 minutes. Take it out and let it cool.
