Grilled Eggplant Beef
Overview
Beef with tomato sauce is so delicious when eaten with roasted soft eggplant. This is a common delicacy in Turkish restaurants. Today I made a home-cooked version, and my family praised it as being comparable to the restaurant version.

Cut the beef into 2 cm cubes

Dice tomatoes and mince 2 cloves of garlic

Pour a small amount of salad oil into the pan. When the oil is hot, add beef and stir-fry

Stir-fry until the meat changes color and simmer over low heat for an hour and a half

After checking that the meat is cooked, add 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 cloves of garlic and stir-fry

Add 1 tablespoon tomato paste and stir-fry evenly

Add a small amount of water

Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper and paprika and cook for five minutes, then turn off the heat and set aside.

Bake the eggplant in a 200 degree oven for 30-40 minutes until soft

After the eggplant has cooled, use a knife to peel off the skin

Cut the eggplant into strips and add salt, pepper and MSG

Add 1-2 tablespoons of yogurt and 2 cloves of minced garlic and mix well

Put the eggplant strips into the food plate

Put beef on top, pour some tomato sauce around and serve
