Overview

Preserved egg and lean meat porridge is one of the traditional porridges in Guangdong, and it is also my favorite porridge. In my hometown, no matter the hotel, morning tea, night tea, three meals a day are provided. I like to drink morning tea for breakfast, but I don’t order it until after dinner at night. In teahouses, chopped green onions are usually served separately, you can add or not add them according to personal preference. Preserved egg and lean meat porridge has a sticky texture, smooth taste and is easy to digest. It is loved by the elderly and children. It’s also easy to make at home and uses simple ingredients. The ingredients you make yourself are more abundant haha, and the consistency can be controlled freely. I like the kind that is slightly thicker and stirs out a lot of rice oil. It tastes smooth and comfortable~

  3. Add 1800ml of water to the pot and bring to a boil, pour in the rice and cook the porridge for about 30-40 minutes

  4. Shred the lean meat, add appropriate amount of salt, oil and cooking wine, mix well and marinate for 10 minutes; cut the preserved eggs into small cubes
