Nyonya Lemongrass Chicken Curry
Overview
Before introducing the curry chicken, let’s talk about what Nyonya flavor is. Nyonya is Malay flavor. I searched it: Nyonya originally refers to girls born after marriage between Chinese and Malaysians. Later, it was extended to the food culture, which is mainly a mixture of Chinese cuisine and Southeast Asian (especially Malaysian cuisine) cuisine. Therefore, you can also eat a lot of Nyonya cuisine in Malaysia

Chop garlic, ginger and onion

Cut potatoes into cubes and lemongrass into strips.

Chop the chicken into pieces and set aside.

Add a small amount of oil to the wok, sauté the onion until soft, then add minced ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add oil and curry powder and stir-fry briefly.

Put the chicken pieces into the pot and stir-fry for a while.

Add potatoes and stir-fry.

Then add dried chilies and coconut milk and appropriate amount of water.

Shred the lemon leaves.
