The Sandwich Maker Doesn’t Make Sandwiches: Yeasted Batter Kiwi Triangle Waffles
Overview
There's more to the world of sandwich makers than just sandwiches. During the kiwi season, there are always so many kiwis that die before they can be eaten. You can't eat so many kiwi fruits in one go and turn them into cakes. Better than throwing it away. I always thought that the kiwi would kill the yeast, but to my surprise, the batter actually rose up little by little, with small bubbles popping out. Place in the triangular rack of a sandwich maker to turn into triangular waffles.
