Pork rice with slag
Overview
Zongrou rice is steamed glutinous rice with steamed pork and vermicelli. It tastes salty and very delicious. (I marinated the meat at night, soaked the glutinous rice, and steamed it for breakfast the next morning)

Cut the pork belly into medium-sized pieces.

Soak the glutinous rice for 12 hours. The longer the time is, the softer it will be when steamed, otherwise it will be hard.

Indica rice noodles for later use

Prepare the minced ginger

Chopped green onions are ready

Add salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, minced ginger, sugar, appropriate amount of chopped green onion, and indica rice flour to the pork belly, mix well, and marinate for 3 to 5 hours

Place tofu skin on the bottom of the steamer, put the soaked glutinous rice on top, and sprinkle a small amount of cold boiled water on the glutinous rice

Then spread the marinated pork belly on the glutinous rice and steam for 30 minutes, first on high heat for 10 minutes, then on low heat for 20 minutes

Steam and sprinkle with chopped green onions and enjoy!
