Choose the thinnest kelp as shown in the picture. This kelp is suitable for making Korean kelp soup. Don't buy the thick ones. Thin kelp is still cheap. Two or three cents is enough to make two bowls of soup.

Wash the kelp with clean water and cut into slices.

Put the cut kelp into a bowl, add half a spoon of soup soy sauce or brewing soy sauce, mix it and set it aside.

Slice beef and garlic. Heat a small amount of oil in the pan. This is making soup, not cooking. Don't add too much oil. Add the sliced meat and garlic, add half a spoonful of soy sauce, and stir-fry over medium heat for 1 minute.

Add the marinated kelp and fry for another 2 minutes.

Pour in a small amount of water and fry for 3 minutes. About 1/3 bowl of water.

Pour another 3 bowls of water into it, add salt and MSG to adjust the saltiness. Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, then reduce to low and cook for another 15 minutes. The delicious kelp soup is ready.
