Wolfberry Lily Glutinous Rice Porridge
Overview
Glutinous rice can strengthen the spleen and stomach and stop sweating; lily can calm the heart and calm the mind. Consuming the two together can be used to assist in the treatment of palpitations, insomnia, and poor mental health caused by insufficient Qi and Yin. The climate in spring is sometimes cold and sometimes hot, and is constantly changing. When it's cold, it feels like a sharp spring chill. When it's hot, it's over 20 degrees Celsius outside at noon, and it feels like late spring or early summer. If you wear too much, you will sweat on your back while walking at noon; if you don’t wear enough, it will feel cold in the morning and evening, and you will catch a cold accidentally. Drinking some health-preserving porridge will help protect the stomach. But people often think that cooking porridge is time-consuming, so why not give it a try: freeze the rice, boil it in boiling water, and then simmer it.
