Get the ingredients ready.

Add powdered sugar to cooking oil.

Add chopped walnuts. (Put the walnut kernels into a bag and crush them, or grind them in a dry grinder. Be careful not to beat them too finely, otherwise they will become walnut powder)

Use chopsticks to gently stir evenly.

Wear gloves and form into a ball. (Don’t knead the dough, just stick it together into a ball)

Divide the dough into small pieces of 20 grams each, knead each piece slightly, form a ball, flatten it, and place it on a baking sheet lined with oilcloth. (I almost never knead it, I just put it in the heart of my left hand, pinch it with my right hand and then press it flat)

Brush a layer of egg wash on the surface.

Press a small piece of walnut kernel into the center of each. (You can also sprinkle with sesame seeds)

Place in the preheated oven, 180 degrees, middle rack, and bake for about 12 minutes.
