-
Prepare a long strip of seaweed.
-
Wash the dried mushrooms and soak them in cold water.
-
Prepare the minced meat and seaweed balls in your hands. Rinse them with tap water and squeeze them dry for later use. Cut the mushrooms into small dices and let the water for soaking the mushrooms stand. You will need some later.
-
Add a little salt, add 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, and stir evenly.
-
Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, continue to mix, and marinate for 30 minutes.
-
Spread the minced meat flat on a plate, slowly pour a few tablespoons of shiitake mushroom water over it, and after it is absorbed, steam it in a pot of cold water over high heat for about 18 minutes.
-
Sprinkle chopped green onions two minutes in advance.
-
There will be some soup just after steaming, but it will be quickly absorbed by the meat patties.
-
A little salty, it goes very well with rice. Toushui seaweed is fresh, crispy and smooth, making it perfect for this dish.
