Winter Casserole - Black Pepper Steak and Potato Stew
Overview
A section of beef ribs is simmered in an antique casserole that is older than us. This black pepper steak stewed with small potatoes is born. Served with a large bowl of fried vegetables, dinner for two people is not too shabby, right?

Prepare beef ribs and wash

Ginger slices for later use

The steak first goes through a blanching process and then officially enters the pressure cooker to simmer for about 30 minutes

Add a tablespoon of rice wine

Add a small spoonful of rice vinegar

Wash and cut green onions and onions separately and set aside

Cut the potatoes into pieces and put them in water to prevent discoloration and wash off some starch

Prepare our antique casserole

Onions and scallions for the bottom

Add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce

Add a spoonful of old wine

Pour in beef ribs

Add 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce

Add rock sugar and simmer until the steak is tender, about 1 hour
