Beef and potato soup
Overview
I bought two steaks. They were relatively small. I felt that they would be tough if fried. I cut them all into slices to make soup. I had fresh tomatoes grown by myself, so they would definitely taste very fresh.

Cut the long potatoes into cubes, slice the tomatoes, and cut the beef into long strips and put them into a bowl, then add seasoning (1), marinate evenly, and let stand for 2 hours or more;
-
Place the pot on the stove, turn on medium heat, and melt the butter;
-
Add another 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, add minced onions and minced garlic;
-
Add cucumber cubes, sauté until fragrant and reduce to low heat;

Pour in beef soup. If the amount of soup is not enough, add appropriate amount of water, stock or chicken soup, and bring to a boil over high heat;
-
Pour in the diced potatoes, green beans and tomatoes, raise to medium heat, stir occasionally with a spoon, add 1.5 teaspoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, stir for a few times, taste test, if it is too sour, add more sugar, if it is not salty enough, add an appropriate amount of salt, and cook the potatoes;
-
Pour in the beef and cook while stirring with a spoon until the beef is just cooked. Spread about 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and the soup is complete.
