Overview

This dish of griddle-pot cabbage can be made at home without the need for a griddle. It is crispy, sour and can be eaten with rice.

  1. Tear the cabbage into cubes of about 3cm

  2. Cut the green and red peppers into small pieces and cut the garlic into slices and set aside

  3. Pour in oil and heat until 40% hot. Add Sichuan peppercorns and dried chili peppers and fry until fragrant. Take them out

  4. Put the garlic slices into the pot and stir-fry until the garlic is fragrant

  5. Pour in the pork belly and stir-fry for a few times

  6. Add the torn cabbage into the pot and stir-fry constantly.

  7. Stir-fry until 4 or 5 times cooked, add vinegar and soy sauce and stir-fry continuously.

  8. Stir-fry until 8 times cooked, add sugar, salt, MSG and green and red pepper, stir-fry a few more times and remove from the pan.
