Green onion pancake
Overview
I made sesame seed cakes at home in the morning. They were really fragrant and delicious when they were freshly baked. They are really good for breakfast! A piece of old noodle is added to the dough. The old noodle is a piece left over from making steamed buns yesterday. It is said that the noodles made this way taste better and have a stronger wheat aroma. I have not tried using old noodles to make pancakes, but I personally think that the old noodle steamed buns do taste better. The shortcomings are that the second serving time is a bit shorter due to the rush, otherwise the inner layer will be even softer. We will improve it tomorrow!

Add oil to the pot, add green onions, and fry over low heat until fragrant

Put low-gluten flour into a small bowl, add salt and chicken essence

Knead into semi-solid pastry and set aside

Let the kneaded dough rest for 10 minutes, then roll it into a large rectangular piece of dough

Fold the right side of the dough towards the middle

Fold the left side over again, close the edges, and complete the third fold

Then fold it in half from bottom to top

Turn 90 degrees sideways and roll the dough into a rectangle again

Repeat steps 12 to 15, and then complete three folds and half folds

Roll the dough into a rectangular shape

Cut the noodles into pieces and let them rise for 20 minutes. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with white sesame seeds, and place in a preheated oven at 190 degrees on the middle rack for about 20 minutes
