Overview
Cake rolls can be varied. As long as you add a little thought and use a few tricks, you can make rolls of various shapes and patterns. This cake roll is made by using two different colors of batter, dark and light, and adding a small movement. I like it so much~! Line a 28x28 baking pan with oil cloth or paper

Mix black cocoa powder with hot water to form a fine cocoa paste without particles

Isolated egg yolk

Mix salad oil and milk

Sift in the flour and mix with a hand whisk until there are no lumps

Add egg yolk and mix well

Make protein paste. Add the sugar to the egg whites in three batches and beat until there are big curves

First add 1/3 of the egg white batter into the egg yolk batter and mix evenly

Pour back into the remaining egg white batter and mix well

Take out a quarter of the batter and mix it evenly with the cocoa paste

First pour the original batter into the mold and smooth it

Then use a piping bag to spread the cocoa batter on top and smooth

Use a stick that is about the same thickness as an ordinary ham sausage and score it around the S shape as shown in the picture

Turn the baking pan 90 degrees and repeat as shown

Preheat the oven to 180℃ and bake for 15 minutes

After baking is complete, take out the baking pan, shake it hard to release the heat, hold the baking paper and slide out of the baking pan, and place it on a drying rack to dissipate heat

After it cools down slightly, cover the cake piece with a new piece of oil paper, turn it over, add strawberry jam and spread evenly
