Spinach Hedgehog Buns
Overview
I have made white hedgehog buns, but I have never made green ones. I was inspired by watching others make them, so I bought spinach and made them. I had made piggy buns before, and Sister Mi liked them very much, but this hedgehog bun, she didn’t know it was a hedgehog.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Dissolve the yeast in warm water in advance, pour it into the flour, then slowly add the spinach juice
-
Use chopsticks to stir it into a snowflake shape and then slowly knead it into a dough with your hands. Remember to add the spinach juice little by little, not all at once.
-
Knead the dough, cover it with a lid, and let it rise in the sun until it doubles in size
-
Release the air from the risen dough, then take a small piece and wrap it in the custard filling. Then shut up,
-
Then use scissors to cut out the hedgehog's thorns (forgive me for doing this alone, so my hands are all flour and I didn't take a detailed picture)
-
Here’s an illustration, Sister Mi is also wrapping her bag
-
Decorate the eyes of the finished hedgehog with black sesame seeds, and then place them one by one. Look at the small dough inside the steamer, which is made by Sister Mi
-
Let it sit for 5 minutes for secondary fermentation, then steam in cold water for 12 minutes
