Sweet Corn Braised Duck
Overview
I originally bought corn with the intention of frying it with minced meat, but I accidentally bought too much, so I simply simmered it with duck.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Boil a pot of water, put the chopped duck meat in and boil the blood.
-
Fish it out. If you feel there is still foam sticking to it, rinse it with water.
-
Star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, ginger, etc.
-
Heat a little oil in a pan, put the duck meat down and stir-fry over low heat. When I chopped the duck meat, I basically removed the fat, so I had to add some oil.
-
When the duck meat is fried a little brown, add rock sugar and light soy sauce to bring out the aroma.
-
I poured a bottle of beer into it, and when I thought it wasn't enough, I added more water. Add star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, etc., bring to a boil over high heat and then simmer over low heat.
-
While the duck is simmering in the pan, we can prepare the sweetcorn.
-
When the duck meat is almost tender, about 20 minutes before taking it out of the pot, add the sweet corn and continue to stew.
-
Finally collect the juice and remove from the pot.
