Stir-fried green pepper with old cucumber
Overview
I would like to recommend a dish of stir-fried old cucumbers, paired with green and red peppers. Not only is the color beautiful, the texture is crispy, but the taste is particularly delicious. You don’t even need to change the meat. The whole family loves it.

-
Meet the old cucumber, only available in autumn. This old cucumber is different from the old cucumbers from my hometown. The surface of the old cucumbers from my hometown is numb, and the color is not yellow, but a little reddish and very deep.
-
Peel and wash old cucumbers, and wash green and red peppers repeatedly.
-
Cut green and red peppers into small pieces, not too big, just medium. Cut the old cucumber into cubes. Note that this is not a slice, but a cube. The texture will be crispy when cut into cubes.
-
Add an appropriate amount of oil to the wok, sauté the five-spice powder and chopped green onion, add all the prepared ingredients, and stir-fry.
-
Stir-fry until the green pepper becomes soft, add a little water and stir-fry for about a minute. Do not cover the pot, as this will easily cause the vegetables to change color.
-
Collect the juice, add salt and light soy sauce to taste, remove from the pan and serve on a plate.
