Soft and delicious purple sweet potato meal bag
Overview
I am a person who loves to stock up on goods. I saw the purple sweet potatoes at the market were particularly fresh last week and bought four or five of them. I used the purple sweet potatoes to make rice paste on the first day, and the remaining three or four have been sitting idle in the refrigerator. Although purple sweet potatoes are high in nutrients, they are not suitable for eating raw, and if they are steamed and eaten directly, they taste too dry and unpalatable. So after getting a bread machine, I wisely decided to use purple sweet potatoes to make bread. I felt very happy when I thought of the soft and tender purple color appearing on the dining table.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the purple sweet potatoes and steam them with the skin on until they can be easily inserted with chopsticks.
-
Peel the purple sweet potato until it is no longer hot to your hands, and use a spoon or rolling pin to crush the purple sweet potato into a puree without any large particles.
-
In the order of liquid first and then solid, put all the ingredients required for making bread into the kneading bucket of the bread machine. Be careful not to let the salt and sugar come into direct contact with the baking powder, and start the kneading process.
-
After the dough is kneaded until smooth, add the softened butter and continue the kneading process until the dough forms a film.
-
After slightly shaping the kneaded dough, start the fermentation process until the dough reaches 2-2.5 times its original size. Dip your fingers in flour and poke a hole without shrinking or collapsing.
-
After the first rise, divide the dough into 6 equal parts, knead them evenly, cover them with plastic wrap and let them rest for 15 minutes.
-
Roll the relaxed bread into an oval shape as shown.
-
Turn 90 degrees, cut the lower 1/2 of the dough into strips as shown in the picture, and then place honey beans on top of the dough.
-
Roll up the dough from top to bottom.
-
Place the rolled bread base evenly on the baking sheet and place in a warm and moist place for the second rise.
-
After the second baking, do not brush anything on the surface of the bread. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. Place the baking tray in the middle and lower layers of the oven and bake for 15-16 minutes. After the bread comes out of the oven, brush a layer of honey water (mix honey and warm water 1:1) while it is hot. Let it cool before eating.
