Green Bean and Mushroom Pork Buns
Overview
My friend said he wanted to make steamed buns at home, and he happened to have some ingredients at home, so he made pork buns with green beans and mushrooms. Although they didn’t look very good, they still tasted good!

Melt the yeast powder with warm water, pour in the flour and knead it into a smooth dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for fermentation

Dice the green beans and mushrooms, mince the pork, mince the garlic and ginger

Heat the pan, add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, add garlic and stir-fry

Add mushrooms and saute until fragrant

Add green beans and stir-fry twice

Add salt and chicken essence and stir-fry evenly

Add the fried green beans to the minced meat, soy sauce and ginger and mix well

After fermentation, knead the dough and cut it into roughly the same size

Take a small amount and roll it into a round dough piece

Wrap with fillings

Wrap it well and pinch it tightly

Pour an appropriate amount of water into the steamer, add the wrapped buns, bring to a boil over high heat, then steam over medium heat for 15 minutes, turn off the heat, simmer for 3 to 4 minutes before opening the lid to prevent shrinkage
