Wash and peel the lotus root and cut into sections similar to sharpening a pencil.

Wash the okra, remove the stems, and cut into sections diagonally.

After heating the oil pan, add lotus roots and stir-fry, then add 1/4 cup of water to draw out the starch in the lotus roots.

After the lotus roots change color (from raw to cooked), add okra, pour in the remaining 1/4 cup of clean water, continue to stir-fry, and finally add salt to taste.
