Overview

Pickled fish usually uses grass carp or black fish, but if two people eat it, it needs to be divided into two portions. So, this time, I used Ga fish with no fish bones to make pickled fish.

  1. Marinate the fish

  2. Shred the sauerkraut. The sauerkraut I bought was a bit salty, so I soaked it for a while.

  3. Prepare seasoning. Onion, ginger, garlic, and a chili pepper. If you don’t have small red pepper at home, use a chili pepper instead.

  6. Add water and simmer

  7. Add frozen tofu. Adding frozen tofu is mainly to add more flavor to the rice and make the pickled fish soup more flavorful. Adding soft tofu is even better.

  8. Simmer for a while and add the fish

  9. Add pepper, soup stock, and appropriate amount of salt in the middle; select the simmering time according to your preference, and finally remove from the pot. Pour in hot oil with pepper and serve!
