Lemon Chicken Wing Tips
Overview
It seems that every time I make delicious food, I do it for my daughter... Every time my daughter says it tastes good, she feels happy, as if she has won a jackpot. Chicken wing tips are also my daughter’s favorite food and she often buys them. I have tried to imitate the taste of Juewei or Zhou Hei Ya's wing tips before, but this time I saw a lemon wing tip recipe online. I happened to have lemons at home, so I tried making it. My daughter praised it so much that she finished it almost in one go, and she couldn't even ask her mother to make it. But when I made it the second time, I was short of some ingredients at home, and I forgot how to make it the first time, so the taste was a little worse. I did some research and found that maybe the wing tips were cooked too quickly the second time and the wing tips were not marinated properly. The sauce on the outside was fine, but the wing tips themselves had no flavor. Write down how to do it so you don’t forget it next time.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Materials list.
-
Wash the lemon peel with salt to remove the wax and impurities.
-
Cut into slices and remove seeds. The seeds must be removed, otherwise they will be bitter.
-
Wash and drain the wing tips, add salt, sugar and 2-3 slices of lemon and marinate for about 2 hours.
-
Chop the onions, ginger, and garlic. I used green onions for the first time. The second time I had some green onions on hand, I was lazy and used shredded green onions and sliced the garlic. If there was no ginger, I left it out.
-
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions, ginger and garlic.
-
Pour in the marinated wing tips, fry the wing tips until browned on both sides, and add the marinade.
-
Then add oyster sauce, light soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili powder and other seasonings, as well as the remaining lemon slices, and add water to cover the tips of the wings.
-
Cover and bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Taste the taste and adjust if it is not enough. Remove the juice over high heat.
-
Remove from pan and plate.
