Purple sweet potato buns

I just bought a bread machine. To be honest, the bread produced is not as delicious as the ones sold in cake shops. I fell in love with its dough kneading function. I wanted to steam purple sweet potato buns as soon as I got up today. Since I am 7 and a half months pregnant, kneading noodles is a bit tiring for me. This bread maker makes it easy! The first time I did it, it was quite successful, I couldn’t help but be happy.

  1. Cut the purple sweet potato into pieces and put it in the steamer for about 10 minutes, then put it on a plate and crush it with a spoon, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix well. There is one step that I didn’t take a photo of, which is to add all-purpose flour into the bread machine. I used a medium-sized spoon, about 7 tablespoons of flour, then add the melted angel yeast powder, then pour in the crushed purple sweet potato, and press the dough function of the bread machine for 30 minutes.

  2. After the bread machine program ends, take it out and mix it a few times, then put it back into the bread machine and select the yogurt fermentation function for about 1 hour. Because I was cooking for lunch, I posted it for an extra half hour, and it was a bit over-posted. I didn’t take any pictures that I had posted, and when I posted them to twice the size, there were a lot of air holes. Take it out and roll it into strips on the chopping board. Cut it into dough base. If you want it to be round, roll it into a round shape. If you want it to be ordinary, you don’t need to sort it out.

  3. Apply a little oil on the steamer to prevent it from sticking, put the prepared steamed buns on it, let it rise for another 15 minutes, then turn on the steam and let it steam for 15 to 20 minutes. After turning off the heat, be sure not to remove the lid and let it steam for 5 minutes before taking it out of the pot.
