Fig, Cherry and Tremella Soup
Overview
It’s hot and I have no appetite for meals. It’s most comfortable to boil some sugar water and put it in the refrigerator to drink a bowl while it’s cool. I just happened to buy fresh cherries, but they are not easy to store, so I used part of them to make white fungus soup and added very sweet dried figs. It was nutritious, relieving the heat, and delicious.

Prepare the required materials (wash and soak the white fungus in advance

Remove the stems of the soaked white fungus and tear off the small florets

Cut the dried figs in half

Add appropriate amount of water to the white fungus and dried figs

Simmer for 1 hour until the white fungus is soft and tender

Add cherries and rock sugar

Continue to cook for 10 minutes, then turn off the power and simmer for 20 minutes

Let it cool and refrigerate it before eating for more deliciousness
