Steamed scallops with vermicelli

Amount of vermicelli: 1 small handful of vermicelli for 6 scallops.

Remove scallops from shells.

Brush the scallop shells clean with a brush and set aside.

Wash the scallop meat and set aside.

Garlic is made into garlic paste.

Add light soy sauce, salt, MSG (or chicken essence), steamed fish drum oil, sesame oil, minced green onion, minced millet and pepper into a seasoning bowl and stir evenly.

Soak the vermicelli in water until soft, roll it up with your hands and place it in the scallop shell, then add the seasoning with a small spoon.

Add scallop meat and sprinkle with seasoning.

Place in a steamer, bring to a boil over high heat, turn to low heat and steam for 5 to 6 minutes, then turn off the heat and form into a plate.
