Hong Kong Style Laba Porridge
Overview
It is said that this is a popular sweet Laba porridge in Hong Kong, hence the name Hong Kong-style Laba porridge. The sugar is originally added before serving. However, due to the different tastes of everyone, this step is omitted. If you like to add sugar, add it yourself. If you don't like to add sugar, just eat the original flavor. However, the porridge with red dates has a slight sweetness. The chestnuts are a bit big, so I only used 4. For smaller chestnuts, I could use 8. For even distribution, the walnuts are also slightly chopped. The porridge soup cooked with glutinous rice is thick and sticky, and it feels particularly good.
