Small pumpkin bean paste buns are mainly pumpkin-shaped bean paste buns made from pumpkin and glutinous rice and filled with bean paste. Everyone’s production method is different!

Prepare materials.

Peel the melon, cut into small pieces and steam in a steamer.

While hot, use a spoon to mash the pumpkin into puree.

Divide the bean paste filling into 30g equal portions.

Let the pumpkin puree cool and add glutinous rice flour.

Make pumpkin glutinous rice flour dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Prepare a steamer basket and put oil paper on it.

Divide the glutinous rice dough into 50g portions and the bean paste filling into 30g portions.

Wrap the glutinous rice ball around the bean paste filling and form into a round shape.

Use the back of a knife to gently score a few lines on the rolled buns, add a raisin to the top, and the pumpkin is ready.

Steam the small pumpkin in a steamer for 10 minutes and eat while hot.
