Rilakkuma Bread

Rilakkuma Bread

Overview

Rilakkuma buns, with cute expressions, are the most popular among children. It’s unbearable to say, but there’s really nothing I can do about taking pictures. It's obviously very cute, but it can't be photographed well

  1. Mix all the ingredients except milk and butter evenly and form into a ball. Start kneading and beating the dough until it forms a rough film

  2. Add butter and let it be completely absorbed by the dough

  3. Knead the dough until it expands and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size

  4. Take out the fermented dough and deflate it

  5. Cut the bread dough into large pieces of 50 grams each to make the bear's face, and then divide the dough into small pieces of 8 grams each to make the bear's ears. With this recipe, you can make about 5-6 bears. After dividing the dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes

  6. Take a large dough and roll it out. Be sure to roll it out thinly. The dough will expand very much after the second fermentation and after being put into the oven. If the dough is too thick, the face of the little bear will not look good and will be too pointed

  7. Take two small pieces of dough and roll them into thin slices to make the bear’s ears

    Rilakkuma Bread step 7
  8. Then use the remaining dough and roll it out very thinly. Use a round mold to press out a round piece of dough to make the bear’s nose

  9. Combine together and place on the baking sheet, leaving enough space between the dough

  10. Leave to ferment in a warm place until doubled in size

    Rilakkuma Bread step 10
  11. Brush the little bear with the mixture of egg and water, avoiding the nose. Cut a circle slightly larger than the nose with tin foil and cover it with the little bear's nose. Try to ensure that the little bear's nose does not get colored. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 20 minutes

  12. After baking, place on the grill to cool. After the dough has cooled. Put a few chocolate coins in a piping bag, melt it in hot water of about 60 degrees, and cut a small opening in the piping bag

  13. Draw eyes and nose on the bear bread
