Soak the beef in light salt water for 1 day, changing the water 3 to 4 times in the middle. Take it out and put it into a basin. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, rice wine, star anise, pepper, bay leaf, rock sugar, green onion, ginger, soybean paste, and a little salt. Spread the beef evenly and add water to marinate the beef.
