Select a section of tender lotus root, slice it, and soak it in cold water to remove some starch

Blanch the deglazed lotus root slices in a pot of boiling water, then use a slotted spoon to strain out the lotus root slices and put them into a basin filled with cold water to keep the lotus root slices tender and crisp. Remove them after cooling

Take out the cooled lotus root slices and put them into a bowl. Then add the seasonings. Make sure to pour the cooking oil on top before adding the garlic and green onions. Finally, add the cumin powder and stir evenly. You're done
