Steamed swimming crab
Overview
Crab is a delicacy in food, and there is a folk saying that a plate of crabs is served on the table. Crab meat is not only delicious, but also rich in nutrients. It is a high-protein tonic and is very beneficial to nourishing the body. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that crabs can clear away heat and detoxify, replenish bones and marrow, nourish muscles and activate blood circulation, unblock tendons, sharpen limbs and joints, replenish liver yin, replenish gastric juices, and have certain therapeutic effects on congestion, injury, jaundice, sore waist and legs, and rheumatoid arthritis. Crabs are cold in nature, so it is best to dip them in ginger-vinegar juice to dispel the cold and sterilize them. People with weak spleen and stomach should not eat more crabs, and crabs should not be eaten with tea. Crab gills, sandbags, and internal organs contain a large amount of bacteria and toxins, so do not eat them. Do not eat dead crabs, undercooked crabs, or cooked crabs that have been stored for too long.
