Homemade Shaqima
Overview
I have bought maltose at home for a long time and I don’t know how to eat it well. Today I suddenly thought of making some Shaqima for my baby. Making it yourself is really much more delicious than buying it, and making it yourself is always safer than buying ingredients from outside. Let me share with you how I do it!

Steps
-
Add the flour to the eggs and mix well. Put one egg in front of the other to prevent the dough from being too thin. Then soften it into a harder dough, roll it out and cut it into thin strips (I forgot to take a photo)
-
Put oil in the pot and heat it up. You can put one piece of noodles in the pot first and try it. If it makes a squeaking sound and becomes puffy, you can put the noodles in the pot and deep-fry them until they become slightly darker. Then take them out. This will give you a better texture
-
Put water, sugar and maltose in a pot and simmer over low heat until it becomes thicker and stringy. Add the fried noodles and black sesame seeds and stir-fry until everything is well mixed
-
Apply oil to the container, pour it into the container and flatten it with some force. I put a piece of oil paper on top, press it flat with my hands and let it cool
-
Pour out and cut into pieces

Okay, doesn’t it look delicious?
