Overview

In the past, my mother always boiled the wontons in water before frying them. After they were cooked, oil would splash out when fried. My fried wontons are cooked the lazy way and can be served in less than ten minutes.

  1. Half tablespoon oil

  2. Fry the wonton rows in a pot over high heat for half a minute until the bottom becomes the color as shown

  3. Add water

  4. Fill the wontons halfway with water

  5. Cover and cook over high heat until the water dries up

  6. Add half a tablespoon of oil from the side of the pan and fry over low heat for two minutes

  7. Take out of the pot
