Chinese yellow peach bread
Overview
After chewing yellow peaches for a few days, I suddenly remembered that yellow peaches can actually be used to make many things. Such as bread. Although it seems that many western desserts about yellow peaches are made with canned yellow peaches, there is no harm in trying fresh yellow peaches. I immediately noticed this Chinese bread with yellow peaches braided. I have never tried this look before. The biggest worry when using fresh yellow peaches is that too much water will come out, and the peeled yellow peaches will change color during the waiting process. In order to reduce the waiting time for yellow peaches, process the yellow peaches only when they are about to be used, cut half into cubes and half into strips. If the yellow peach is cut into strips that are too thick, the branches will stick out and become an obstacle to weaving the dough. I quickly found the right thickness, and the initial clumsiness gradually turned into ease. After braiding it, I soon discovered that I had miscalculated. It was not that easy to move the long dough filled with yellow peaches to the baking pan. After all kinds of efforts, I finally got it. The consequences of this tossing are revealed after baking - the baked bread becomes curved from the expected straight line, and the closing joints are also stretched during the expansion. It seems that it should be braided directly into the baking pan. The temperature of the back wall of the oven was obviously a little too high, and the color on the front looked just right, but after taking it out, I found that the color on the other side was 10% darker. But the taste is very good.
