"Sesame Sauce Cowpea" is rarely eaten in my family (Sichuan people love it, everyone knows it, ~(≧▽≦)/~), but I eat it once in a while, and it feels good.

Remove the tendons from the head and tail of the cowpeas, wash them and set aside; cut the cowpeas into segments of the same length;

Pour an appropriate amount of water, an appropriate amount of salt and vegetable oil into the pot and bring to a boil; put the cowpeas into the pot and blanch them;

Observe that when the cowpeas are blanched and turn green, take them out; prepare a pot of cold boiled water, take out the blanched cowpeas and soak them in the cold boiled water;

Drain the water from the cowpeas and place them on a plate;

Peel the garlic, wash it, chop it and set aside;

Sprinkle the chopped garlic on top of the cowpeas;

In an empty bowl, add appropriate amounts of light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame paste, salt, chicken essence, and fine sugar;

Stir the seasonings evenly;
