Cute heart-shaped cranberry snack bag
Overview
This meal bag has a very plain flavor, perfect for breakfast bread, and tastes great spread with butter and jam. Recipe from Happy Handmade Bread by Love and Freedom. I have made this bun a long time ago, but the result was not very satisfactory, so I will make it again today. There are no cranberries in the original recipe, so adding some makes it taste better.

Mix all the ingredients except butter and knead until the initial extension stage. Add butter to the dough in the extension stage, continue kneading until a transparent film appears, and let the dough undergo basic fermentation.

After the basic fermentation is completed, divide the dough into 25g pieces each and rest for 15 minutes.

Roll the dough into an oval shape.

Fold in half.

Turn the bottom corner up and fold it again. (Slightly staggered)

Make a cut in the middle of the dough.

Turn the cut sides into a heart shape.

Place the shaped heart-shaped dough in the baking pan (make sure to leave a certain distance, otherwise it will stick together after it is fully fermented).

Put it in a warm and moist place for final fermentation. After fermentation, brush the surface with egg wash.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for about 12 minutes.
